The Book That Completely Ruined My Standards !

I thought Twisted Love was good.

Then I read Twisted Games.

And suddenly every other fictional man had competition.

This book had me hooked from the very first chapters. The tension, the longing, the forbidden romance, the royal drama... everything worked so perfectly that I couldn't stop reading. Sleep became optional. My responsibilities became background characters. Such is the power of a good romance novel.

What It's About

Twisted Games follows Princess Bridget von Ascheberg and her bodyguard, Rhys Larsen.

Bridget is kind, intelligent, and determined to live life on her own terms despite the expectations placed upon her as royalty. Rhys is her bodyguard, a man who follows rules, keeps his emotions locked away, and treats feelings like they're security threats.

Their relationship begins professionally, but as they spend more time together, the line between duty and desire becomes impossible to ignore.

The problem?

A princess isn't supposed to fall in love with her bodyguard.

Unfortunately for them, hearts rarely care about rules.

My Thoughts

This book completely stole my heart.

The chemistry between Bridget and Rhys was incredible. Every glance, every conversation, every small moment felt meaningful. Ana Huang mastered the slow-burn romance here, and the payoff was absolutely worth the wait.

What I loved most was the relationship itself. Rhys wasn't just protective. He respected Bridget, supported her dreams, and stood beside her when things became difficult. Their connection felt deeper than simple attraction.

Bridget was also a fantastic heroine. She wasn't waiting to be saved. She was strong, determined, and willing to fight for the life she wanted. Watching her grow throughout the story was one of my favorite parts of the book.

And Rhys?

Rhys Larsen deserves his own chapter.

Quiet. Loyal. Protective. Dangerous when necessary.

The man barely smiles, and somehow that's enough to make readers lose their minds.
